My own "Rear Window"

The Old Apartment, one of my favorite Bare Naked Ladies song. I think this will be my theme song for my casa on the UES (Upper East Side). I live very modestly these days in a 400 sq. ft. apartment, and I have adjusted well. It is a shock to go from 1200 sq. ft., and it does seem barbaric not to have a dishwasher or garbage disposal, but I am coping!

My apartment is rather charming and I am taking my time with decorating. I just purchased a coffee table a few weeks ago and it brightens up the place.

I am living my own personal "Rear Window" these days as you can see in one of the pics I can look into the apt building across from me. Surprisingly, I have only seen my one neighbor who seems to stay in their bedroom when ever home and never ventures to the living room. They eat in bed, read the paper or a book, and sleep. Then the person upstairs from them I have only seen once but they leave lights on but not sure if someone lives there full time or rents it.
